Elegant and rare small Louis XVI period marquetry desk from the 18th century. This beautiful desk features two drawers in the frieze. The rectangular top is framed by a delicate gilt bronze gallery. Superb marquetry work in light tones on all it's sides. The table rests on straight legs decorated with fine inlays terminating in gilt bronze sabots and small casters. It is covered in a very beautiful tobacco-colored leather with a superb patina. The drawer interiors are made of oak, a sign of quality and its period. In perfect condition with a superb patina. Superb set of 10 chairs and 2 armchairs in the Hepplewhite Revival style from England in mahogany. A beautiful set in solid mahogany from the early 20th century, dating from the Edwardian period. The chairs feature a fine carved backs typical of Hepplewhite style chairs. They rest on tapered legs. It is rare to find such a large set in mahogany. The chairs have cushions that could use reupholstering. These are easily removable, making reupholstering very simple.
