Guglielmo Pugi (1850-1915) was a renowned Italian sculptor from Florence, active in the late 19th to early 20th century. He specialized in marble busts, allegorical figures, and classical themes, often collaborating with his sons in the Pugi workshop. Works from his studio are signed "Pugi" and were exported widely, especially to the U.S. and Europe, during the Grand Tour period.
Pugi's studio also exhibited at major events like the 1900 Paris Exposition Universelle, and his works are found in both private collections and museums today.
